Berta’s Pizza Kitchen is the 4th concept from the Good Good Hospitality Group. If you’ve loved Friends Grille + Bar, The Salty Snapper Seafood & Oyster Bar, or Woodstack BBQ Tavern, get ready because Berta’s will be another awesome addition to the Valdosta dining scene.

Berta’s Pizza Kitchen specializes in house made pizzas using the freshest ingredients along with delicious Italian American fare. Owners Randy DeCoudres and Justin Stephens believe in bringing the people of Valdosta and surrounding areas dining spots that are unique to the area. At Berta’s we make pizza dough everyday. It’s cold fermented in our cooler for 2 days so it develops flavor before being made into a pizza. Every loaf of our focaccia is made by hand and used for our delicious bread sticks on the menu. We make traditional pizzas and also offer more adventures toppings like arugula lettuce, truffle oil, pickled red onions, cremini mushroom, & Kalamata olives.

   Not into pizza and pasta? We serve an incredible 16oz NY strip steak. Grilled and sliced. Possible the best steak in town! We use sushi grade tuna for a dish we call Tuna Crudo. The Italian version of sushi. Drizzled with spicy crunchy garlic, balsamic vinegar, cucumbers, and fresh basil. One of the stars on the menu is our meatball appetizer. The recipe we use was passed down from our chef Morris Bagley’s Italian grandmother. Three huge meatballs simmered in marinara topped with melty provolone cheese and basil pesto. This is a show stopper. And the perfect way to begin a meal and Berta’s.
   Berta’s Pizza Kitchen has a casual feel. Perfect for family dinners out or a date night spot with that special someone. Large draft beer selection and unique and affordable Italian wines make Berta’s bar very attractive. .
